LogicLeapKids (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides private tutoring services in Mathematics, Science, introductory Programming (coding) and English for students in Grades Pre-Kindergarten to 10, delivered through in-person and online sessions.

We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of students and their parents/guardians in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy standards.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Parent/guardian name and contact details
  • Student name, grade and learning needs
  • Payment and billing information (processed via secure payment gateways)
  • Communication records (messages submitted through our website)
  • Session-related notes (e.g. progress and participation)

We only collect information necessary to provide our tutoring services.

3. Consent

  • By enrolling in our services or using our website, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information as described in this policy.
  • For students under 18, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limitations.

Refund Policy

  • All fees are non-refundable, including partial months or missed sessions.

6. Free Assessment Session

New enrollments include one (1) complimentary assessment session.

This session is intended to:

  • Assess student suitability and comfort
  • Provide parents with a “understand before you enroll” experience

Continuation beyond the assessment session requires paid enrollment.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Enrollment may be cancelled by either the parent/guardian or LogicLeapKids.
  • A minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice is required.
  • Fees already paid remain non-refundable.

8. Session Delivery Mechanisms

In-Person Sessions

  • In-person sessions are conducted at the teacher’s designated location. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that students are dropped off and picked up promptly at the scheduled session times.
  • LogicLeapKids does not provide supervision outside of the scheduled session duration.

Online Sessions

  • Online sessions are conducted through commonly used digital communication platforms. Parents and students are responsible for ensuring access to a stable internet connection and a suitable device for participation.
  • Students and/or parents are strictly prohibited from recording any online tutoring session, in whole or in part, using any device or software without prior written consent from LogicLeapKids.
  • LogicLeapKids will not record or share sessions publicly without explicit consent.

9. Missed Sessions and No-Show Policy

  • If a student misses a scheduled session without prior notice, the session will be considered forfeited.
  • No refund or credit will be provided for missed sessions.

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling may be considered if at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.

10. Data Sharing

We may share personal information only when necessary:

  • With service providers (e.g., payment gateways, website hosting)
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect the safety and integrity of our services

We do not share personal information for third-party marketing.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system can guarantee complete security.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LogicLeapKids shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages
  • Academic results or outcomes
  • Technical issues affecting online sessions
  • Any loss arising from the use of our services

Parents and students agree to use the services at their own discretion and responsibility.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date and all existing/new students and their parents will be bound by the same.
